Import nginx or Apache logs

SenseGap reads access logs in the combined format, the default on nginx and Apache. Rotated and gzipped files are fine.

/var/log/nginx/access.log*
/var/log/apache2/access.log*

Upload in the browser

On your site's Install page, choose Server logs and drop the files in. Your browser reads them and sends only bot and AI-referred lines. The rest never leaves your computer.

Or import from the server

Create a key on the same page, then run:

SENSEGAP_KEY=your-site-key npx -y -p https://sensegap.com/downloads/sensegap-node.tgz \
  sensegap-logs /var/log/nginx/access.log*

Nothing counts twice

We fill up to 90 days back. Days you already uploaded are skipped, and so are days after a live install started sending data. You can upload the same files again safely.

Email hello@sensegap.com with your site's domain and what you tried. A person reads every message.
